Marie Singleton

Marie Singleton, 82, of Georgetown, TX., died Tuesday, June 22, 2004 at Georgetown Medical Center. A native of Wesson, MS., Marie lived in Vidor for 61 years, before moving to Georgetown in 1999. Marie was a homemaker, and a 50 year charter member of Calvary Baptist Church in Vidor. Funeral services will be Friday, June 25, 2004 at 10:00 a.m. at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor, with burial to follow at Singleton Cemetery in Vidor. Visitation will begin at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, June 24, 2004 at Memorial Funeral Home Chapel. Marie is survived by her sons, David Singleton of Kirbyville, TX., Joe Singleton of Vidor, TX., Bill Singleton of Georgetown, TX., five grandchildren, and two great grandchildren. Marie is preceded in death by her husband J.B. Singleton, and granddaughters Tammie Singleton and Melinda Singleton.
