Martha Jean Mccurley

Martha J. McCurley, 72, of Vidor died Saturday, February 12, 2005 at the Lucas House in Beaumont. A native of Anniston, AL, she was a resident of Vidor for 36 years. Martha was a homemaker and a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Funeral services will be held 10:00 a.m. Thursday, February 17, 2005 at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor, with burial to follow at Restlawn Memorial Park in Vidor. Visitation will begin at 6:00 p.m. Wednesday, February 16, 2005 at Memorial Funeral Home. Martha is survived by her sons: William “Bill” McCurley and his wife Patricia Ann of Beaumont, TX, C. Ray McCurley and his wife Keri Lyn of Vidor, TX, daughter: Mary “Susie” Richard of Vidor, TX, sisters: Bessie Blevins of Anniston, AL, Elouise Espey of Smyrna, TN, grandchildren: James L. Carrell, Jeremy Wayne McCurley, Christopher Seymour, Robert McCurley, Justin Payne, Cody Richard, Cory McCurley and Tracy Lynn Wright, great-grandchildren: Destiny Jean Carrell, Misti Ann Carrell, Bailey Nicole Wright, Wyatt Daniel Wright, and Jordan Avery-Lynn Seymour. She was preceded in death by her husband Alton Wayne McCurley, brothers: Nathaniel Holloway, Charles Holloway, sister: Jackie Hudspeth.
