Martha Sue Ward

Martha S. Ward, 81, of Vidor died Sunday, October 18, 2009 at her residence. A lifelong resident of Vidor, she was a retired custodian with VISD. She was a member of the VFW Ladies Auxillary post # 8246, and the Order of the Eastern Star Chapter #910 of Vidor. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, October 21, 2009 at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor, with burial to follow at Restlawn Memorial Park in Vidor. Visitation will begin at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, October 20, 2009 at Memorial Funeral Home. Martha was preceded in death by her husband Jay P. Nolan, parents Elton and Cordell Bush, brothers Alfred Bush, Coy Bush, Foye Bush, and Special Bush, sister Miriam Cowart, great grandchild Cade Wright, and niece Rhonda Parham. She is survived by her daughters Glynda Wright and husband Thomas of Flower Mound, TX., Paula Christian and husband Ricky of Vidor, and "Lulu" Bobbie Louise Johnson and husband Roger, Sr of Vidor, sister Bonnie Berwick of Center, TX., grandchildren Alesha Hogue, Kyle Wright, Brian Wright, Atasha Quebedeaux, Roger Johnson, Jr., Bobby Johnson, and Christi Penning, great grandchildren, Josh Wright, Dillion Wright, Callie Wright, Christian Quebedeaux, Madison Johnson, Alexis Penning, Gavin Penning, and Brooklinn Penning.
