Mary Carolyn (Granny) Morris

Carolyn Morris, 82, of Vidor died Wednesday, February 10th, 2016 at Christus St. Elizabeth Hospital in Beaumont. A native of Mineral Wells, Texas, she was a longtime resident of Vidor. Carolyn was a member of First United Methodist Church in Vidor and retired as a teacher from Nederland. She graduated from Lamar University with a bachelors degree. Cremation arrangements were entrusted to Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor. Carolyn is survived by her sons Charles Morris of Vidor, TX, Claude Morris of Austin, TX, and Donald Morris of Vidor, TX, brother David Morgan of Canton, OH, sister Celia Morgan of Houston, TX, 3 granddaughters and 4 great -grandchildren.
