Mary Velma Thibodeaux Guillory

Mary V. Guillory, 80, of Woodville died Wednesday, October 14, 2009 at Christus St. Elizabeth Hospital in Beaumont. Mary was born in Church Point, Louisiana on October 14, 1929 to John and Mamie Bourgeois. She lived in Woodville for the past 9 years and was a longtime resident of Colmesneil. Mary retired from Sears after more than 35 years of service as a Sales Clerk. She was a member of caring and sharing, the alter society, and home bound ministries with Our Lady of the Pines Catholic Church in Woodville. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, October 17, 2009 at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in Vidor, under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor, with burial to follow at Restlawn Memorial Park in Vidor. Visitation will begin at 6:00 p.m. and a Christian vigil at 7:00 p.m. Friday, October 16, 2009 at Memorial Funeral Home. Mary was preceded in death by her first husband E.J. Thibodeaux, her daughters Pam Simmons and Beverly Ann Thibodeaux. She is survived by her husband Burley Guillory of Woodville, TX, son Roger Thibodeaux of Colmesneil, TX, daughters Joycelyn Sperry of Garden City, KS, Carolyn Cole and Gwen Revia both of Vidor, TX, brothers John Bourgeois of Jasper, TX, and Norman Bourgeois of Vidor, TX, sisters Gladys Thibodeaux of Vidor, TX, Bertha Benoit of Beaumont, TX, Effie Bennett of Galena Park, TX, Annie Ruth Blanchard of Breaux Bridge, LA, Ethel Perrio of Vidor, TX, 15 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren.
