Maryellen Louviere

MaryEllen (Castilaw) Louviere, 80, died Monday, May 9th, 2016 in Vidor. A native of Brookhaven, Mississippi, Mrs. Louviere was a lifelong resident of Vidor. She loved gardening, canning, sewing and cooking and was a longtime member of T.O.P.S. and The Red Hat Society. She was loved by her family and friends and will be truly missed by all. She was a loving wife and mother of five children. Visitations will be Thursday, May 12, 2016 from 12:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor and also on Friday, May 13, 2016 from 12:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with a rosary service at 7:00 p.m. .A Mass of Christian Burial will be Saturday, May 14, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in Vidor with interment to follow at Restlawn Memorial Park. MaryEllen is survived by 2 daughters, Diana Bise and Carolyn Carter and husband Larry, 2 sons, Donald Louviere and Stephen Louviere, Sr and wife Charlene, 11 grandchildren, 26 great grandchildren. She is also survived by 3 brothers, Charles Castilaw, George Castilaw and Paul Castilaw and 2 sisters, Shirley White and Kathy Harris. She was preceded in death by her husband, Eugene Louviere, 1 daughter, Linda St. Cyr, and parents, George E. and Willie Lee Castilaw of Brookhaven, Mississippi.
