Matthew Eugene Thomas

Matthew E. Thomas, 18, of Vidor died Sunday, October 16, 2011 in Vidor. A native of Tulsa, OK, he lived in Vidor for the past 3 years and was longtime resident of Clinton, OK. Matthew was a student and played football for Vidor High School. He was a member of First Baptist Church in Clinton, OK and was attending Turning Point Church in Vidor. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am Wednesday, October 19, 2011 at Turning Point Church in Vidor, with burial to follow at Restlawn Memorial Park. Visitation will begin at 6:00 pm Tuesday, October 18, 2011 at Turning Point Church. Matthew is survived by his parents Sammy and Brandee Hampshire of Vidor, daughter Kehli Rae-Ann, father Anthony Thomas, mother of his daughter Lindsey Courtney of Silsbee, TX, brothers Mike and Marcus Thomas of Clinton, OK, Celly Thomas of Vidor, TX, sister Makayla Fondrick of Lumberton, TX, grandparents Dixie Rice of Clinton, OK, Donald and Brandy Rogers of Vidor, TX, Ora B. Thomas of Liberal, KS, great grandmother Gloria Dixon of Liberal, KS and numerous loving aunts and uncles.
