Matthew William Young, Sr.

Matthew W. Young, Sr., 52, of Vidor died Saturday, March 3, 2012 at his residence. A native of Beaumont, he was lifelong resident of Vidor, and a self-employed paint contractor. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm on Wednesday, March 7, 2012 at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor, with burial to follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Beaumont. Visitation will begin at 6:00 pm on Tuesday, March 6, 2012 at Memorial Funeral Home. Matthew is survived by his son Matt Young, Jr of Lumberton, daughter Annie Young of Vidor, brothers Sutt Young of Houston, and Jamey Kelley of Huffman, sisters Caprice Swearington of Kountze, Pricella Young of Houston, Denise Hanks, Patrice Ware, Cenise McGee, and Celeste Ford all of Vidor, two grandchildren: Ethan Jordan and Clint Jordan.
