Melvia Lee Jacobs

Melvia Lee Jacobs, 83, of Vidor died Wednesday, May 5, 2004 at Christus St. Elizabeth Hospital in Beaumont. She has resided in Vidor since 1953. Melvia was a homemaker and a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. Sunday, May 9, 2004 at Vidor Assembly of God, under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor, with burial to follow at Restlawn Memorial Park in Vidor. Visitation will begin at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday, May 8, 2004 at Memorial Funeral home of Vidor. Melvia is survived by her husband of 63 years Andrew “Andy” Jacobs, Sr. of Vidor, TX., sons: Andrew Jacobs, Jr., and David Jacobs both of Vidor, TX., daughter: Brenda Roberts of Lumberton, TX., 11 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. The pallbearers will be the grandsons.
