Merline Fountain Walhood

Merline F. Walhood, 76, of Vidor died Sunday, January 22, 2012 at Dubuis Hospital in Beaumont. A native of Martinsville, TX., she has lived in Vidor for 30 years, and was self-employed. Cremation arrangements were entrusted with Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor. Visitation will be held from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Tuesday, January 24, 2012 at Memorial Funeral Home. Merline was preceded in death by her sons Ben Walhood and Michael Walhood, daughter Ann Marie Walhood, and brother Michael LoRusso. She is survived by her daughter-in-laws Paulette Walhood of Groves, and Grace Walhood of Vidor, brother Pat LoRusso of Lumberton, sister Phyllis Macklin of New Mexico, ½ brothers Gary, Jim, and Larry all of Center, TX., eight grandchildren, and ten great grandchildren.
