Mildred Black

Mildred Black, 92, of Vidor died Friday, May 28, 2010 at Dubuis Hospital in Beaumont. A native of Jeanerette, LA, she was a longtime resident of Vidor. Mildred was a homemaker and a member of North Main Church of Christ Church in Vidor. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, June 1, 2010 at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor, with burial to follow at Restlawn Memorial Park in Vidor. Visitation will begin at 6:00 p.m. Monday, May 31, 2010 at Memorial Funeral Home.Shewas preceded in death by her parents Edmond James Ashworth and Uerda May Gant Ashworth. Mildred is survived by her step-son Wilton Black of Whitney, TX, sister Shirley Macky of Vidor, TX, 3 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
