Mildred Florence Tomlin

Mildred F. Tomlin, 85, of Vidor died Friday, September 7, 2007 at Oakwood Manor Nursing in Vidor. A native of Pickering, LA, she was a longtime resident of Vidor. Mildred was a homemaker and a member of Pecan Acres Baptist Church in Vidor. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Monday, September 10, 2007 at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor, with burial to follow at 1:30 p.m. at Antioch Cemetery in Buna. Visitation will begin at 6:00 p.m. Sunday, September 9, 2007 at Memorial Funeral Home. Mildred was preceded in death by her husband James T. Tomlin and brothers Sheffield Lyons, Richard Lyons, Lushion Lyons, Clyde Lyons, sisters Hattie Jean Bogue, and Lois Wright. She is survived by her son Travis Tomlin of Vidor, TX, daughters Beth Combs of Vidor, TX, Jo Ann Eve of Baytown, TX, brother Robert “Tiger” Lyons of Vidor, TX, sister Jewell Bogue of Marshall, TX, 6 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.
