Mildred "Millie" Elana Mcfarland

Millie McFarland, 48 of Vidor died Monday, May 10th, 2021 at her residence. A native of Houston, Texas, she was a longtime resident of Vidor. Millie was the Assistant Director of Child Nutrition for VISD. She enjoyed hunting and hunting shark teeth at the beach, but most of all she loved spending time with her grandchildren. Visitation will begin at 6:00 pm Wednesday, May 12, 2021 at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor. Funeral services will begin at 2:00pm Thursday, May 13, 2021 at the funeral home with burial to follow at Restlawn Memorial Park in Vidor. Millie is survived by her husband of 32 years Jake McFarland of Vidor, TX, children Erica Jones and her husband Joseph of Mont Belvieu, TX, Kaycee McFarland and Luke Newman of Vidor, TX, and Jake McFarland Jr. and his wife Kacy of Vidor, TX, parents Garland and Lynda Blaylock of Kountze, TX, father Donald Barnes of Emery, UT, sister Donna Rowland of Montgomery, TX, brothers Kenneth Barnes of Onalaska, TX, and Rusty Barnes of Emery, UT, 8 grandchildren Drake, Jaxon, Kyleigh, Westyn, Maddox, Lydia, Ryder and Ryver.
