Morris Woody Bertrand, Sr.

Woody Bertrand, Sr, 42, of Vidor died Friday, January 28, 2005 at Christus St. Elizabeth Hospital in Beaumont. A native of Groves, TX, he was a lifelong resident of Vidor. Woody was a self-employed General Contractor. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, January 30, 2005 at Williamson Cemetery in Vidor, under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor. Visitation will begin on Sunday January 30, 2005 From 10:00 - 1:30 p.m. at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor. Woody is survived by his wife of 23 years Karen Bertrand, sons: James Avery Bertrand, Morris Woodrow Bertrand III both of Vidor, TX, daughter: Toyah Dyan Bertrand of Vidor, TX, brothers: Joseph Mitchell Bertrand, Vernon Franklin Bertrand both of Vidor, TX, sisters: Roena Marie Travis of Vidor, TX, Jeania Lelaine Bertrand of Orange, TX, Roberta Louise Smith of Orange, TX, Norma Ruth Gentry of Vidor, TX, grandchildren: Madison Aryal Bertrand, Trenton John Watts, and Hayden Wayne Rogers. Woody was preceded in death by his son Morris Woodrow Bertrand, Jr. In Lieu of flowers donation can be made to the family.
