Nelda Ann Herford

Nelda A. Herford, 64, of Vidor died Saturday, March 5, 2005 at her residence. A lifelong resident of Vidor, she was a retired telephone operator after 20 years with Southwestern Bell, and was a member of the Ladies Auxillary. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, March 7, 2005 at 2:00 p.m. at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor, with burial to follow at Restlawn Memorial Park in Vidor. Visitation will begin at 6:00 p.m. on Sunday, March 6, 2005 at Memorial Funeral Home Chapel, with a Rosary to begin at 7:00 p.m.. Nelda was preceded in death by her parents Mentor and Lillie Marie Boudreaux, two brothers, and one sister. She is survived by her son Clay Herford and his wife Robbie Ann of Vidor, daughters, Rita Herford Patterson and her husband Shawn , and Monica Herford all of Vidor, sisters, Henrietta Davis of Elkhart, TX., Ellen Abshire of Beaumont, and Linda Joshlin of Vidor, and ten grandchildren.
