Norma Shanks

Norma Shanks, 64 of Vidor died Sunday, February 28th, 2021 at Christus St. Elizabeth Hospital
of Beaumont, TX. A native of New Hebron, MS, she was a longtime resident of Vidor. Norma was a nurses aid at Oakwood Nursing Home and she enjoyed cooking. Norma loved the color purple. Visitation will begin at 6:00 pm Thursday, March 4, 2021 at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor. Graveside services will be held at 10:00 am Friday, March 5, 2021 at Del-Rose Cemetery in Vidor. Norma is survived by her husband of 25 years George Carnahan of Vidor, TX, sons Lee Wallie of Nederland, TX, and David Carnahan of Vidor, TX, sister Donna Burge of Dayton, TX and Darlene Banks of New Hebron, MS, and 2 grandchildren.
