Odie Lee Gibbins

Odie L. Gibbins, 98, of Mauriceville died Tuesday, June 16, 2009 at The Meadows Nursing Home in Orange. A native of Cherino, TX., she has lived in Vidor since 1957, and was a homemaker. Funeral services will begin at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, June 19, 2009 at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor, with burial to follow at King Cemetery in Hartburg, TX. Visitation will begin at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, June 18, 2009 at Memorial Funeral Home. Odie was preceded in death by her husband Carl Gibbins, sons D.W. Carnline, and Charles Carnline, son-in-law Paul Clemons, and numerous brothers and sisters. She is survived by her son Carl Gibbins of Mauriceville, daughters Verna Harrison of Vidor, Shirley Clemons of Mauriceville, and Helen Walles of Orangefield, nineteen grandchildren, and numerous great and great-great grandchildren.
