Pansy Mae Matthews

Pansy Mae Matthews, 85, died Thursday, February 18th, 2016 in Beaumont. A native of Waskom, Texas she was a longtime resident of Lumberton who liked to fish and garden. She was a longtime member of North End Baptist Church in Beaumont. A graveside service will be Monday, February 22, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. at Restlawn Memorial Park in Vidor. Pansy is survived by 4 sons, Donald Matthews of Lumberton, John Matthews and wife Roni of Vidor, Charles Matthews of Beaumont and Glen Matthews and wife Renee' of Segno, TX, 1 daughter, Debra "Sissy" Claiborn of Hillister, TX. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild. Pansy was preceded in death by a son, Roger Matthews, 3 brothers and 1 sister. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor.
