Paul David Legendre

Paul D. Legendre, 47, of Lumberton, died Saturday, August 27, 2011 at his residence. A native of Beaumont, TX, he was a longtime resident of Lumberton. Paul was employed with Frito-Lay as a salesman for many years. He acquired numerous friends over the years working in this position especially at the Super Wal-Mart in Beaumont where he could always be found stocking the shelves in the early morning hours. He enjoyed playing golf and playing music on his many musical instruments in his spare time. He had a gentle, quiet, loving personality and he will be greatly missed by his family and all those who knew him and worked with him. Cremation arrangements were entrusted to Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor. A memorial service will be held at 7:00 pm Thursday, September 1, 2011 at Memorial Funeral Home. Family and friends will gather from 5:00 – 7:00 pm Thursday evening. Paul was preceded in death by his parents Kelly and Janie Legendre, sister Frances Pereira and niece Meagan Legendre. He is survived by his daughter Kaycee Doyle and her husband Jonathan of Vidor, TX, brothers Darald Legendre, Dane Legendre and his wife Brenda, Michael Legendre all of Beaumont, TX, Joseph Legendre of San Antonio, TX, Mark Legendre and his wife Gail of Vidor, TX, Thomas Legendre of Port Neches, TX, Gregory Legendre of Reno, NV, Kevin Legendre and his wife Stacy, Kenneth Legendre and his wife Paula all of Lumberton, TX, sisters Mary Ann Pierson of Bridge City, TX, Candy Hartzog and her husband Marc, Seth Ann Legendre and Tisha Legendre all of Beaumont, TX, 1 granddaughter Ayvah Doyle and a host of nieces and nephews.
