Paul Joe Sturm

Paul J. Sturm, 94 of Vidor died Monday, May 11th, 2020 at Harbor Hospice House in Beaumont, Texas. A native of Olney, TX, he was a longtime resident of Vidor. Paul was a member of First Christian Church of Vidor were he served as an elder for 50 + years. Paul was an Operator for Mobil Chemicals for 28 years. He loved fishing, tinkering around and woodworker. He served his country in the U.S. Army during WWII. Visitation will begin at 10:00 am and The funeral at 11:00 am Thursday, May 14, 2020 at Maplecrest Baptist Church in Vidor with burial to follow at Singleton Cemetery in Vidor. Paul is survived by his sons Eddie and his wife Beverly Sturm, Lynn Sturm and his wife Linda all of Vidor, TX, daughter Jeannie and her husband Deryl Moore of Troup, TX, brothers Larry Graham of Tuscola, TX, Mike Graham of Vidor, TX, 6 grandchildren Kurt and his wife Jennifer Sturm, Kim and her husband John Houseman, Kristie and her husband Dale Baxter, Lance and his wife Christel Sturm, Leslie and her husband Chris Phillips all of Vidor, TX, Brian and his wife Sabrina Savoy of Waxhaw, NC, 18 great grandchildren and 1 great great granddaughter. He was preceded in death by his wife Dorothy Sturm, son David Sturm, brothers Wince Graham Jr, Johnny Graham, sisters Modell Gann, Imogene Gaylor and Wanda Guess. In lieu of flowers donation can be made to the United Christian Care Center in Vidor.
