Paul L. Freeman, 76, of Vidor died Tuesday, October 3, 2006 at The Oaks Nursing Home in Beaumont. A native of Port Arthur, TX, he has lived in Vidor since 1965. Paul was a Boiler Maker for Texaco, a member of Central Baptist Church in Vidor and served his country in the Korean Conflict in the U.S. Army. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Friday, October 6, 2006 at Central Baptist Church in Vidor, under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor, with burial to follow at 2:00 p.m. at Camp Ground Cemetery in Woodville. Visitation will begin at 6:00 p.m. Thursday, October 5, 2006 at Memorial Funeral Home. Paul is survived by his wife Carolyn Freeman of Vidor, TX, son Perry Freeman of Riverview, FL, step-son Aaron Nelson of Vidor, TX, daughters Vicki Bassa of Vidor, TX, Paula Jean Snyder of Arlington, TX, step-daughters Laura Malinchalk and Shirley Lisenby both of Vidor, TX, 18 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
