Phillip Alden Smith

Phillip A. Smith, 67, of Vidor died Friday, March 30, 2012 at Baptist Hospital of Southeast Texas in Beaumont. A native of Beaumont, he was a lifelong resident of Vidor. He served his country in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm on Monday, April 2, 2012 at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor, with burial to follow at Del Rose Cemetery in Vidor. Visitation will begin at 6:00 pm on Sunday, April 1, 2012 at Memorial Funeral Home. Phillip was preceded in death by his parents Joe and Veda Smith, and his sister Joeriene Ayers. He is survived by his wife Nancy Smith of Vidor, son Mike Smith of Mauriceville, brothers Richard Smith of Silsbee, and Jerry Smith of Vidor, sisters Janiece Tullos of Vidor, and Carlene Smyley of Tennessee, three grandchildren, and one great grandchild.
