Ray Lee Bixby

Ray L. Bixby, 65, of Vidor died Monday, June 9, 2014 at his residence. A native of Fort Worth, Ray was a longtime resident of Vidor, and a retired electrician with Union Local #20. Ray served his country in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. Cremation arrangements were entrusted with Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor. Visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, June 18, 2014 at Blessing Funeral Home in Mansfield, Texas. Memorial services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, June 19, 2014 at Cobe Cemetery in Mansfield, Texas. Ray is survived by his wife Leona Peterman Bixby of Vidor, son Peter Bixby of North Richland Hills, TX., step-son Ennis Peterman of Lake Charles, daughters Anna Sue Bixby of Dallas and Angela Jane Bixby of Mansfield, step-daughter Melissa Ezell of Lake Charles, brother Tim Bixby of Burleson, TX., sisters Linda Dalton and Lola Bixby both of Mansfield, four granddaughters Madison, Emily, Julia, and Katie.
