Ray O. Williams, 86, of Vidor died Sunday, December 19, 2010 at his residence. A native of White City, TX., he has lived in Vidor for 70 years, and was a retired carpenter with the City of Vidor and Orange County Building Material. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, December 21, 2010 at First Baptist Church of Vidor under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor, with burial to follow at Restlawn Memorial Park inVidor. Visitation will begin at 6:00 p.m. on Monday, December 20, 2010 at Memorial Funeral Home. Ray is survived by his wife of 67 years Clara Ruth Williams of Vidor, daughters Peggy Ruth Chisholm of DeRidder, LA., and Sue Daniels of Vidor, four grandchildren: Laura Elizabeth Moses, James Mark Daniels, Shane Austin Ball, and Jenifer Sue Turner, two greatgrandchildren: Jade McCray, and Kelsi Daniels, In lieu of flowers, donations maybe made to the Lottie Moon Christmas Offering at First Baptist Church of Vidor, 410 N. Main St., Vidor, Texas 77662, or to a charity of your choice.
