Raymond Edward O'Bannion, Jr.

R.E. O'Bannion, Jr., 87, died Sunday, January 10th, 2016 at his home. Born in Houston, he was a longtime resident of Vidor who enjoyed woodworking, hunting, fishing, and spending quality time with his family. Visitation will be Monday, January 11, 2016 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor. Funeral services will be Tuesday, January 12, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. at Memorial Funeral Home with interment to follow at Restlawn Memorial Park. He is survived by his wife Melba of 32 years, 1 daughter, Jackie Lujan and husband Eddie of West Texas, 5 sons, Ray O'Bannion and wife Karen of Houston, TX Chris O'Bannion and wife Suzie of Dallas, TX, Danny O'Bannion and wife Gabby of Houston, TX, Morgan Cooper and wife Joanna of Vidor, TX, and Mark Cooper and wife Joy of Winnie, TX, 19 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren.
