Raymond Patrick Mc Dermont

Raymond P. McDermott, 83, of Vidor died Sunday, July 1, 2007 at Memorial Hermann Baptist Hospital in Beaumont, TX. A resident of Orange for 50 years, he moved to Vidor 4 years ago, and was a retired purchasing agent for US Steel in Orange for 33 years, and was president of the US Steel retirees club He proudly served his country in the United States Army during WWII. Graveside services will begin at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday, July 3, 2007 at Hillcrest Memorial Park in Bride City, under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor. He is survived by his son James Dobbs of Vidor, sister Dorothy Carpenter of Sacramento, CA., and two grandchildren.
