Richard Anthony Bundy

Richard A. Bundy, 50, of Beaumont died Saturday, May 13, 2006 due to an automobile accident at Christus St. Elizabeth Hospital in Beaumont, TX. A native of Vidor he grew up in Oberlin, LA., where he attended Oberlin High School. He proudly served his country in the United States Army. He loved to fish, hunt, and shoot pool. He was a truck driver for Rockin H. Turcking for many years, and recently drove for a local logging company. Funeral services will begin at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, May 16, 2006 at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor, with burial to follow at Williamson Cemetery in Vidor, TX. Visitation will begin at 6:00 p.m. on Monday, May 15, 2006 at Memorial Funeral Home Chapel. He was preceded in death by his parents Gerald Bundy of Alabama and Mary Jeanis Davis, step-father Horace Chapman, brother Joe Chapman, and grandparents Alexa Chapman, Lawrence Jeanis, and Elta Fonteno Carey. He is survived by his sisters, Linda Adkins and husband Benny, Sr, and Nancy Boone all of Vidor, Barbara Lowe and husband Leonard of Carencro, LA., Alexia Lawrence and husband James of Lumberton, TX., and Toni Duplechain of Elizabeth, LA., brother, Charles Chapman and wife Dorine of Oberlin, LA., and lifelong friends: Billy, Sarah, and Colton Eastwood all of Beaumont, TX. He will be missed dearly by all who loved him.
