Riley Rich Gibson, Sr

Riley R. Gibson, 79, of Vidor died Tuesday, April 19th, 2016 at Christus St. Elizabeth Hospital in Beaumont, TX surrounded by his family and friends. A native of Nacogdoches, TX, he was raised in Louisiana and was a longtime resident of Vidor. Riley was a Funeral Attendant at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor for the past 5 years and will be greatly missed by the staff. He was a faithful member of Faith Tabernacle Pentecostal Church in Vidor. Riley spent most of his life in construction and helped build the West Lake Bridge. He was also an auto mechanic instructor at Chenault in lake Charles. He loved his family. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm Saturday, April 23, 2016 at Faith Tabernacle Pentecostal Church in Vidor, with burial to follow at Restlawn Memorial Park in Vidor. Visitation will begin at 6:00 pm Friday, April 22, 2016 at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor. Riley is survived by his son Riley Rich Gibson, Jr of Vidor, TX and Riley Rich Gibson, III of Maryanna, FL, daughters Katrina Marcotte of Ft. Polk, LA and Sabrina Randall of Fannett, TX, brother James Horning of Pasadena, TX, sister Carolyn Gross of Fallbrook, CA,
12 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.
