Rita Wilson

Rita Annette Wilson, 71, of Vidor, TX passed away Wednesday, April 19, 2023. Born July 5, 1951 to Leo and Vera Ballard in Baton Rouge, LA. She was the youngest of three. Having 2 older brothers Alvin Ballard and Bruce Ballard.

She has left behind her husband of 53 years, Jerry Wilson, 2 daughters Tammy Hall and Donna Wilson and son in law Eddie Bowden. 5 Grandkids Ashley Meziere, Rodney Sanchez, Chris Landry, Jacob Bowden, Connor Hall. And 5 Great Grandkids: Riddick Sanchez, Lila Meziere, Paisley Sanchez, Leo Meziere, Levi Meziere.

Rita was a dedicated daughter, wife, mother and grandmother that always had a smile on her face and positive attitude towards life. She was always there for anyone that needed anything. She loved painting and sewing in her free time. Always loved to travel and taking her girls to amusement parks.

She had dedicated many years to Market Basket and retired at the age of 62 to spend time traveling and spending time with family.

Services for Rita will begin this Friday, April 21, 2023, with a visitation at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM with a graveside service Saturday 22, 2023 at 2:00 PM at Restlawn Memorial Park.
