Robert 'Bobby' Cooper

Robert Bobby Cooper, 62 of Vidor died Wednesday, April 29, 2009 at St. Lukes Hospital in Houston. He was born in Beaumont, TX and was a lifelong resident of Vidor. Bobby was an electrician with IBEW Local Union #479 and retired from Dupont Beaumont Works. He was a member of New Life Church on the Rock and has worked with his wife for the past 9 years at their business, Cooper Group Staffing in Beaumont. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Monday, May 4, 2009 at Pecan Acres Baptist Church in Vidor, with burial to follow at Restlawn Memorial Park in Vidor. Visitation will begin at 6:00 p.m. Sunday, May 3, 2009 at Memorial Funeral Home. Bobby is survived by his wife Glenda Cooper, sons Brady Cooper and Jeremy Cooper both of Vidor, TX, daughter Amy McFarland of Sour Lake, TX, brothers Martin Cooper of Aledo, TX, David Cooper of Burleson, TX and Tommy Cooper of Oxford, CA, sister Carol Hickman of West Virginia and 10 grandchildren.
