Robert 'Bobby' Turner

Bobby Turner, 75, of Vidor died Friday, December 31, 2010 at his residence. A lifelong resident of Vidor, he was a retired machinist with Mobil Chemical. He was a member of Pine Forest Baptist Church in Vidor. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, January 3, 2011 at Pine Forest Baptist Church of Vidor under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor, with burial to follow at Restlawn Memorial Park in Vidor. Visitation will begin at 6:00 p.m. on Sunday, January 2, 2011 at Memorial Funeral Home. Bobby is survived by his wife Mary Turner, son Chris Turner and wife Deana, daughter Carrie Sarver and husband Roy all of Vidor, sister Lou Marek of Crosby, TX., four grandchildren: Joshua Grant, Jacob Grant, Zachery Grant, and Brennan Sarver, one great granddaughter: Shaylee Sarver, and lifetime friend Ronnie Trahan. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Pine Forest Baptist Church general fund, 4800 N. Main St., Vidor, Texas 77662, or The Parkinsons Foundation.
