Robert Eugene Hardy

Robert Eugene Hardy, 56, of Orange, TX died Saturday, October 26th, 2019 at home surrounded by his family. A native of Las Vegas, NV he was a longtime resident of Orange and worked for many years in the construction field as a carpenter. Robert enjoyed going fishing and going to Galveston with his wife. He also enjoyed going to watch his daughter play softball and spending time with his grandchildren. Visitation will be Monday, October 28, 2019 beginning at 6:00 p.m. at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor. Funeral services will be Tuesday, October 29, 2019 at 10:00 a.m. at Memorial Funeral Home with interment at Ford Cemetery in Newton, TX at 1:00 p.m. Robert is survived by his wife of 28 years; Brenda Hardy, 3 daughters; Brittany Gonzales and her fiance' James Sonnier, Ginalee Hardy and Breeana Mays all of Orange, 2 sons; Christopher Gonzales and his wife Krystal of Bridge City, TX and Bandy Sartin and his wife Savannah of Orangefield, TX. He is also survived by 17 grandchildren, 4 sisters; Rhonda Lewis, Carol Hardy, Lisa Havard and Ruby Richardson, and 4 brothers; Rick Hardy, Billy Hardy, Mark Hardy and George Hardy. Robert was preceded in death by his parents; Dallas Hardy and Margie and Doug Nichols, 3 brothers; Tommy Hardy, Jimmy Hardy, and Larry Hardy, and grandparents; Bob and Margie Cousins.
