Robert Randall Dean

January 29, 1957 — February 26, 2023

Robert Randall Dean, 66, was born January 29th, 1957, and passed away February 26th, 2023 in his home in Rose City, TX surrounded by close family and friends. He was a life long resident of Vidor, Texas and a proud member of Turning Point Church. He moved to Rose City, Texas in 1979 after he met "The love of his life" Sharie to whom he was happily married to for 43 years. He would always tell people "You couldn't of wrote a better love story." He loved to hunt, fish, cook, shoot pool, reese's peanut butter cups, and especially gardening. He loved spending time with family making memories and telling stories about "the good old days." He loved to talk and therefore never met a stranger. He was honest so if you didn't want to know the truth it was best not to ask. He retired in January 2022 where he was a superintendent for 14 1/2 years for Gentile Construction. After retirement, he spends a year "living his best life" as he would say before God called him home. His strong faith in God was his legacy as he would tell everyone about what an amazing, loving, and forgiving God we serve. The amazing peace he had through his faith is something that was seen by all and inspiring. He is survived by his wife "the love of his life" Sharie Dean of Rose City, TX, daughter Jessica Dean LaBleu of Rose City, TX and her boyfriend Joshua Reed (whom of which he referred to as his son in law), Son Joshua Dean of Rose City, TX, grandson's (which he always referred to as his bonus son's) Bryce LaBleu and his wife Chelsey of Nederland, TX, and Kodey LaBleu of Rose City, TX, Mother Lois Thompson and her husband Tommy of Vidor, TX, His siblings Sandy Dinsmore and her fiance Rick Arena of Beaumont, TX, Danny Dean of Vidor, TX, Doug Dean and wife Becky of Kirbyville, TX, Laurie Smith of Tennessee, and numerous aunts, neices and nephews all of which he adored dearly. He is proceeded in death by his father Robert Ed Dean and his brother David Dean. Cremation arrangements were entrusted to Memorial of Vidor Funeral Home. A celebration of life will be held at Turning Point Church in Vidor, TX on Friday, March 3rd, 2023 at 10:00 a.m.
