Rosa Odessa Finley 85, passed away on July 30 2011 at her residence in Vidor. She was a long time resident of Port Arthur TX., but made her home in Vidor over 10 years ago. Loving wife to John Tillman Finley Sr. of Vidor. Caring mother to John T. Finley Jr. and wife Tammy of Vidor, Also to Donald G. Finley and wife Pamela of Vidor, brother Bud Cary of Purcelle, OK., sisters Eva Fielder of Wayne, OK., Violete Mathews of Purcelle, OK., Bess Somers of Tulsa, OK., Grandmother to Christopher Finley and wife Shelley of Beaumont, Bridgette Galaviz and husband Jeremy as well as Alyssa Finley of Vidor. Rosa was a devoted home maker who always loved her family and friends. She never met a stranger. She had a very kind and generous nature. Her laugh, smile , and sweetness will always be remembered. She will be missed by all who knew her. Services will be at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor at 10:00 am on Wednesday August 3, 2011. Visitation will begin at 6:00 pm on Tuesday, August 2, 2011 at Memorial Funeral Home.
