Roy Frank Apperson

Roy F. Apperson, 66, of Vidor died Thursday, July 22, 2004 at Memorial Hermann Baptist Hospital in Beaumont. A native of Las Vegas, NM., he has resided in Vidor since 1964. Roy was the owner-operator of Roy’s Food Centers and, Roy and Mary’s Grocers for 40 years. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Vidor and served his country in the U.S. Navy. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, July 24, 2004 at Restlawn Memorial Park, under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor. Visitation will begin at 6:00 p.m. Friday, July 23, 2004 at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor. Roy is survived by his wife: Mary Apperson of Vidor, TX., son: Alan Apperson and his wife of Beaumont, TX., daughters: Ami Lange and her husband Rusty of Vidor, TX., Amanda Apperson and her fiancée Oliver of New York, NY., mother: Florance Apperson of Tyler, TX., brother: Paul Apperson of Tyler, TX., sisters: Judy Leddo of Tuscaloosa, AL., Glenda Dagley of Tyler, TX., Debbie Dodge of Montana. Grandchildren: Tiffani, Jeremy, Ryan Lange.
