Royce Nelson

Royce Milton Nelson, 84, of Vidor, died Wednesday, January 20th, 2021 at Christus St. Elizabeth Hospital in Beaumont. He was a longtime resident of Vidor. He retired from the U.S. Air Force and from Mustang Tractor as a parts salesman. He was a member of Faith Assembly of God Church in Vidor. He liked antique cars and doing yard work but the thing that brought him the greatest joy was spending time with his grandchildren and great grandchildren. Royce will have a visitation at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor Monday, January 25, 2021 from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm and his service will be Tuesday, January 26, 2021 at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor at 2:00 pm with burial to follow at Restlawn Memorial Park. He is survived by his daughters Ranee Nelson of Vidor, TX, Becky and husband Scott Thompson of Beaumont, TX, and Lisa and husband Kevin Fournerat of Vidor, TX, Grandchildren: John & wife Laura, Christopher & wife Olivia, Alisa & husband Griffin, Cody & wife Alicia, Michael & wife Shyanne and Great grandchildren: Noah, Weston, Sadie, Everly, Presley, Elijah, Maverick, Audrey, & Sawyer due anytime; and baby T in August. He was preceded in death by his wife Margaret Nelson, parents Reman and Myrtis Nelson, sisters Sandra Stillwell and Jeanette Crawford, and brother Clayton Nelson.
