Ruby M. Schnitz, 80, of Vidor died Tuesday, November 23, 2004 at Memorial Hermann Baptist Hospital in Beaumont, Texas. Ruby was a lifelong resident of Vidor, and was a homemaker. Funeral services will be Friday, November 26, 2004 at 10:00 a.m. at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor, with burial to follow at Restlawn Memorial Park in Vidor, TX. Visitation will begin at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, November 25, 2004 at Memorial Funeral Home Chapel. Ruby is survived by her husband of 14 years John Paul Schnitz of Vidor, sons, Larry Singer of Vidor, Eddie Singer of Colmesneil, TX., Mike Singer of Vidor, John Schnitz of Beaumont, and James Schnitz of Vidor, daughter, Carol McFarland of Vidor, brother, Ernie Gloede of Vidor, sister, Velma Clark of Vidor, twenty grandchildren, and twenty-four great-grandchildren.
