Rudy Joe Cruz, 78, of Vidor died Thursday, April 7th, 2022 at is residence in Vidor, Texas. He was a longtime resident of Vidor. He loved spending time with grandkids. Gardening and woodworking were some of his favorite hobbies. Spending time with his family meant a lot to him. Cremation arrangements have been entrusted to Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor. Rudy is survived by his wife of 58 years Josephine Cruz of Vidor, TX, his children, Cathy Biddell of Vidor, TX, David and wife Paula Cruz of Vidor, TX, Lisa and husband Richard Hicks of Lumberton, TX, his sisters Ruth and husband Johnny Perez of Beaumont, TX, and Janie Reyes of Beaumont, TX, his brothers Robert and wife Pat Cruz of Beaumont, TX and Alex and Linda Cruz of Beaumont, TX, as well as 3 grandchildren, Andrea and husband Kenny Worth of Vidor, TX, Malaurie and husband Dillon Hammonds of Vidor, TX, Reese and wife Aubrey Cruz of Vidor, TX, and 2 great grandchildren: Kaislyn Bingham and Natalie Cruz with another on the way.
