Rush Bartlett Green

Rush “Rusty” Green, 84, of Vidor, TX died on Saturday, April 21, 2007. He was born on April 30, 1922 in Marlin, TX. After graduating High School in San Saba, TX, Rusty proudly joined the United States Army Air Force and was a WW II veteran. He retired from Neches Butane Refinery Co. after 47 years. Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife of 24 years Dorothy, sons Michael and Terry Green; daughters Linda Bradley and Patricia Groves; step daughters Doylene Amey, Janell Gossage and Jessie Griffin; brother Jack Green, 6 grandchildren and 2 great-granddaughters. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, April 25, 2007 at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor, with Entombment to follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park in Groves. Visitation will begin at 6:00 p.m. Tuesday, April 24, 2007 at Memorial Funeral Home.
