Ruth Mae Jennings

Ruth Jennings, 88, of Vidor died Friday, October 15, 2010 at Baptist Hospital of Southeast Texas in Beaumont. A native of Mohegan, W. Virginia, she was a longtime resident of Vidor. Ruth retired from St. Elizabeth Hospital after 50 years as a nurse and was a charter member of the Church of God ( now The Dwelling Place ) in Vidor. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, October 18, 2010 at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor, with burial to follow at Del-Rose Cemetery in Vidor. Visitation will begin 6:00 p.m. Sunday, October 17, 2010 at Memorial Funeral Home. Ruth was preceded in death by her husband Hubert L. Jennings Sr and granddaughter April Jennings. She is survived by her sons Hubert \"Trapper\" L. Jennings Jr and his wife Sheila of Vidor, TX, Stephen \"Steve\" Paul Jennings and his wife Emma Marce of Beaumont, TX, daughter Alice Ruth Fischer and her husband Charles of Anchorage, AK, grandchildren Wade and Joshua Jennings, Joel Fischer and Lauren Montgomery, great-grandchildren Hailey and Mckenzie Jennings, Micah Montgomery.
