Ruth Marie Jones

Ruth Marie Jones, 82, of Kirbyville died Saturday, August 16, 2014 at Jasper Christus St. Elizabeth Hospital. A native of Elton, Louisiana, she was a former resident of Vidor before moving to Kirbyville. Ruth was a LVN for Jasper Memorial Hospital for many years, she was a volunteer for the Pink Ladies after she retired from Jasper Memorial Hospital. She was a member of Magnolia Spring Missionary Baptist Church. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am Wednesday, August 20, 2014 at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor, with burial to follow at Williamson Cemetery in Vidor. A gathering for family and friends will begin at 6:00 pm Tuesday, August 19, 2014 at Memorial Funeral Home. Ruth is survived by her son David Morse and his wife Donna of Jasper, TX, daughters Joan Morse of Mauriceville, TX, Lisa Morse of Kirbyville, TX, daughter-in-law Delinda Morse of Vidor, TX, sister Jeanette Muha of San Antonio, TX, 7 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, 9 great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her son Henry Morse, brother Charles Jeanis and sister Mary Davis.
