Rutherford "Rudy" Rome Williams

Rutherford "Rudy" Rome Williams, 68, of Lumberton, died Friday, December 4th, 2020 at Christus St. Elizabeth Hospital in Beaumont. He lived in Lumberton for the past 2 and half years but was a longtime resident of Vidor and Beaumont before then. He retired working maintenance for Ramada and Green Acres. He served his country in the Vietnam War with the U.S. Army and was a recipient of the Bronze Star. Rudy enjoyed spending time with family, listening to music, watching t.v., and following God. A memorial service for Rudy will be Friday, December 11th, 2020 at 2:00 pm at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor. He is survived by his wife of 45 years Diana Williams of Lumberton, TX, daughters Misty Cart of Lumberton, TX, April Williams of Lumberton, TX, Jamie Robin of Lumberton, TX, brother Roy Williams of Mauriceville, TX, sister Dora French of Lumberton, TX, Lola Rae O'Neal of Rumsey, KY, and 3 grandchildren Hannah "Tiger" Cart, Randolph Morgan and Aimee Morgan.
