Samuel Parker, 77, of Vidor died Thursday, December 23, 2004 at Vidor Manor Nursing Home of Vidor. A native of Carthage, TX., he has lived in Vidor 55 years, and was a retired truck driver with Great Western Trucking. Funeral services will be Sunday, December 26, 2004 at 2:00 p.m. at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor, with burial to follow at Restlawn Memorial Park in Vidor. Visitation will begin at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 25, 2004 at Memorial Funeral Home Chapel. Samuel is survived by his wife of 58 years Tolla Parker of Vidor, son, Larry Parker of Vidor, and Kathy Parker of also of Vidor, five grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
