Samuel "Sam" Clark Hoyt

Samuel "Sam" C. Hoyt, 75, of Vidor died Sunday, May 17th, 2015 at his residence. A native of Weeks Island, Louisiana, he was a longtime resident of Vidor. Sam was in construction and served his country in the US Navy. Cremation arrangements were entrusted to Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 pm Wednesday, May 20, 2015 at Eastgate United Pentecostal Church in Vidor. Sam is survived by his wife Virginia Hoyt of Vidor, TX, daughter Robyn Bertrand of Vidor, TX, sister Johnnie Reeves of Opelousas, LA, brother Lonnie Hoyt of Vidor, TX, step mother cecelia Hoyt of Vidor, TX, 3 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the charity of your choice.
