Scott Brian Smith

Scott B. Smith, 63 of Bridge City died Thursday, August 13, 2020 at Baptist Hospitals of Southeast Texas in Beaumont. A native of Boston, Massachusetts, he was a longtime resident of Bridge City. Scott was a member of St. Paul Methodist Church in Bridge City and worked at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor as a Funeral Director. He served his country in the U.S. Navy during Desert Storm. He enjoyed fishing, camping and golfing. Visitation will begin at 6:00 pm Monday, August 17, 2020 at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am Tuesday, August 18, 2020 at Memorial Funeral Home with burial to follow at Houston National Cemetery at 1:15 pm. Scott is survived by his wife of 12 years Marjorie Smith of Bridge City, TX, sons Brian Smith of Orangefield, TX, Lee Peveto of Mount Belvieu, TX, daughters Jennifer Bergnic of Sabastian, FL and Meghan Smith of Bridge City, TX, 5 grandchildren
