Selena Ann Gernand

Selena Ann Gernand, 56 died Thursday, December 10th, 2015 at her home in Buna. A native of Albany, TX she was a long time resident of Vidor and a member of New Cherry Grove Baptist Church in Mauriceville. Selena enjoyed planting flowers and gardening but she especially loved to spend quality time with her loving family. Visitation will be Sunday, December 13, 2015 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor. Funeral services will be Monday, December 14, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. at Memorial Funeral Home. Interment will take place at Albany Cemetery in Albany, TX on Tuesday, December 15, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. Selena is survived by her husband, Kyle Gernand of 12 years, 3 daughters, Anna Vaughn, Lanna Vaughn and Charlie Jordan and husband Reagan all of Vidor, and 7 grandchildren. She is also survived by 3 sisters, Carla Smith of Trinity, TX, Carlena Hammonds of Madisonville, TX, and Moye Wilham of Vidor and 1 brother, Len Smith of Livingston, TX. Selena was preceded in death by her parents, Carl Edward Geer and Priscilla Ruth Rogers and a sister, Delyna Geer.
