Seleta Diann Plaia

Seleta D. Plaia, 66, of Mauriceville died Saturday, November 8, 2014 at Baptist Hospital of Southeast Texas in Orange. A native of Beaumont, TX, she has been a resident of Mauriceville for the past 12 years. Seleta was a retired Officer of Collections with Texas Commerce Bank and was a homemaker. She was a member of Silver Oaks Baptist Church in Mauriceville and a past madam president of the Grand Auxiliary Order of the Eagles. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm Wednesday, November 12, 2014 at Silver Oaks Baptist Church in Mauriceville, with burial to follow at The Cemetery in Mauriceville. A gathering for family and friends will begin at 6:00 pm Tuesday, November 11, 2014 at Memorial Funeral Home. Seleta is survived by her husband of 33 years Robert Plaia, daughter Amy Murdock and her husband Eddie of Mauriceville, TX, sister Jackie Tippett of Vidor, TX, 2 granddaughters Mackenzie and Madison Murdock.
