Sherry B. Johnson Marquez

Sherry Beatrice Johnson Marquez age 65 born on January 26th, 1958 went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Friday , January 5, 2024, surrounded by her family. She was preceded in death by both parents Joyce and Robert Johnson jr. and one brother Robert “ Rusty” Johnson.

A lifelong resident of Vidor, Texas, she found joy in her roots. She pursued her passion for dance, gracing stages as a ballerina at the Julie Rogers Theater and in Houston after attending Kelly High School in Beaumont and classes at Lamar University.

She was a dedicated homemaker and a mother to her four daughters, Crystal, Lacy, Rose, and Lillie. She also leaves behind a numerous amount of grandchildren. She was an artist at heart, she shared her love for creativity, especially sketching and other crafts, passing on her passion to her beloved daughters.

Her spiritual journey was deeply rooted in her membership at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Vidor, Texas. Sherry will be remembered for her unwavering love, artistic spirit, and the legacy of creativity she leaves behind. May her gentle soul rest in peace, surrounded by the love she shared with all those fortunate enough to have known her.
