Shirley Alice Ashworth Mackey

Shirley A. Mackey, 89, of Vidor died Monday, December 27, 2010 at Harbor Hospice House in Beaumont. A native of Baldwin, LA., she was a longtime resident of Vidor, and was a homemaker. Graveside services will be held at 10:00 a.m on Friday, December 31, 2010 at Restlawn Memorial Park in Vidor under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor. She was preceded in death by her parents Edmon James and Verder Mae Gant Ashworth, brothers Harry James Ashworth and Lenard F. Ashworth, sisters Lillian Ashworth Goff, and Mildred Ashworth Black. She is survived by her nephews Harry Allen Ashworth of Shelby, NC., James Paul Ashworth of Kings Mountain, NC., and Dan Edmon Ashworth of Gastonia, NC., and by numerous great nieces and nephews.
