Shirley Ann Stewart Nuckols

Shirley A. Nuckols, 73, of Vidor died Monday, May 23, 2011 at her daughters residence. A native of Hornbeck, LA., she was a lifelong resident of Vidor and was a retired RN with Baptist Hospital of Southeast Texas in Beaumont, and retired Director of Nursing with Oakwood Manor Nursing Home in Vidor. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am on Thursday, May 26, 2011 at Pecan Acres Baptist Church in Vidor, with burial to follow at Restlawn Memorial Park in Vidor. Visitation will begin at 6:00 pm on Wednesday, May 25, 2011 at Pecan Acres Baptist Church in Vidor all under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor. Shirley was preceded in death by her parents W.T. Red and Floyce Grace Stewart, son James Edward Nuckols, and brother David L. Stewart. She is survived by her husband Charles William Nuckols of Vidor, daughters Sherry Lynn Nuckols Haley, Charlene Denise Nuckols Louviere and husband Stephen Sr., and Charlotte Ann Nuckols Baileyand husband Paul all of Vidor, brother Stephen L. Stewart of Vidor, sister Dorothy S. Jackson of Sulphur, LA., ten grandchildren, fifteen great grandchildren, and loving nieces and nephews.
